Fellowships

There are two fellowships available for orthopaedic surgeons who are planning to spend a period of time working in the developing world. Both are annual awards of an airfare, plus £1000 towards the cost of accommodation.

• The Gauvain Fellowship
• The Ginger Wilson Bursary

To be considered for these awards, please send two copies of your CV and on a single side of A4 summarise the reasons for your trip to Professor Chris Lavy at chairman@wocuk.org

These awards will be assessed every January, but other applications throughout the year will be assessed on their merits.
